Otto Hertz (1938)
Otto Herz Scabal, i 1938. I begyndelsen specialiserede Scabal sig udelukkende i fremstillingen af metervarer, men efter 2. verdenskrig udvidede virksomheden deres aktiviteter til også at omfatte herremode – fremstillet af de fineste metervarer i verden.
Salvador Dali (1971)
I 1971 gik den surrealistiske mester Salvador Dali i samarbejde med Scabal og kreerede en række eksklusive malerier for Scabal. De 12 kunstværker skitserede kunstnerens unikke vision om, hvordan fint skræddersyet tøj ville udvikle sig i det 21. århundrede. Du kan se Dali’s 12 værker her.
Savile row n⁰12 (1972)
Scabal besluttede at etablere sig i centrum af det sartoriale univers, på den legendariske Savile Row i London i 1972. Herfra fortsætter Scabal med at udstyre stilbevidste herrer i både traditionelle og moderne skræddersyede jakkesæt. Et mondænt tegn på, at Scabal er kommet for at blive.
Scabal i Hollywood
Scabal er storleverandør til Hollywood. Scabal har leveret jakkesæt til ikoniske film som Marlon Brandos The Godfather, Robert De Niros Casino og James Camerons Titanic for at nævne nogle få. “The Escape collection combines colour and fancy designs with a warming mix of wools and cashmere to create a wide selection of jacket fabrics intended to stand out on cold grey days. Checks, glenchecks, overchecks and window pane designs, in a rainbow of colours all feature this season. Ground colours in camels, blues, browns and greys are combined with the stand-out contrasts of royal blue, mustard, red and green. The result is a sophisticated collection that can be the base of contemporary or classic jackets depending on the personal taste of the wearer.”
